Standard Rupture Disc / Angular Seat Holders
Composite Rupture Disc / Angular Seat Holders
Continental Disc Corporation's Standard Rupture Disc is a solid metal, differential pressure relief device that provides instantaneous overpressure protection for systems, equipment, and vessels. The Standard Rupture Disc provides a full-opening design that responds within milliseconds to potentially damaging overpressure accumulation, permitting its use in a variety of protection applications.
A Composite Type Rupture Disc is a differential pressure relief device used to protect pressurized systems, equipment, and vessels from a potentially damaging overpressure condition.
Continental Disc offers two Composite Type Rupture Disc design styles, a Preformed style, like the CDC or PLV rupture disc; and a flat style, like the ENVIRO-SEAL Rupture Disc.

UNISERT® Assembly / Flat Seat Rupture Discs
Graphite Rupture Discs
The UNISERT Assembly is a flat seat rupture disc holder which provides improved rupture disc sealing capabilities. It is designed to house either the MICRO X® Rupture Disc or the Composite Flat Seat Rupture Disc. These non-fragmenting designed rupture discs provide a wide choice of burst ratings from the low pressures of the Composite Rupture Disc through the higher pressures of the scored positive acting MICRO X Rupture Disc.
Continental Disc's Impervious Graphite Rupture Discs are simple, reliable overpressure relief devices designed to protect processing systems, truck tanks, storage tanks, and closed processing vessels from potential damage caused by an overpressure condition.
Manufactured from a monolithic slab of graphite, these discs are impregnated with a phenolic resin to form an impervious surface. These dependable rupture disc designs are ideally suited for highly corrosive media applications and for remote installations that require a rupture disc with an extended service life.

Tanksert Rupture Disc
ICON™ Rupture Disc
The Tanksert Rupture Disc was designed exclusively for railroad tank car overpressure protection, and to conform with ICC regulations. The Tanksert Rupture Disc is a Composite Type, with a flat seat sealing configuration. It is composed of an outlet ring for positive dimensional burst control and protection of the top section - a slotted metal top section which is the controlling burst member - a Teflon® seal which isolates the top from the tank media and prevents leakage - a vacuum support which prevents the seal from becoming damaged, should a pressure surge occur during transit or unloading. The vacuum support is also specially designed with an off-set section to assist in positive alignment during installation.
The Continental Disc ICON Rupture Disc is a cross scored, solid metal bursting disc specifically designed to protect transportation vessels, like intermodal tank containers, railroad portable containers, tank cars, over-the-road tank trucks and other vessels that transport liquids or gas products, from potentially damaging overpressure conditions.

Tite-Seal / Screw Type Assemblies
Union Holder
Tite-Seal and Screw Type assemblies are complete rupture disc and holder units specifically designed for use on various types of pressurized "mini systems" such as: Air conditioning systems; Refrigeration units; Hydraulic accumulators; Gas cylinders; Portable compressed air systems; and Laboratory equipment.
The Union Holder is designed to provide flexibility of use in tight piping configurations. These precisely built holders combine remarkable ease of installation with high pressure ratings in pipe sizes of 2" (50mm) or less. These holders are designed for 30° seat Standard or Composite type rupture discs. Any combination of welded or threaded connections is available.

CLEAN-SWEEP® Assembly
The CLEAN-SWEEP Rupture Disc Assembly provides overpressure relief protection for viscous media processes particularly where product build-up in a piping system may cause excessive overpressure conditions. It offers significant design features over existing designs. Unlike other designs on the market, the body casting of the assembly is specifically designed for a rupture disc.
